A Daily Recess:

My husband and I own a pressure filled business so I need a way to siphon off that daily stress. I don’t have time to drive to a local college because my schedule is jammed.

I’m picky when I choose instructors, so I spent several days on Google. I wasn’t impressed until I stumbled onto Sandra Angelo, the Fellowship Award winner from Rhode Island School of Design. When I saw the amazing transformations she was getting with people that didn’t even start out with talent, I was convinced.

And boy was I right.

Before long Sandra took me from weak art to drawings that pop off my paper. Now I can unwind at the end of a long day and take her MasterClasses in my PJ’s and post my art when it’s convenient.

And a very cool thing happened… When my neighbor lost his dog tragically, I was able to bring that puppy’s love back to life in my portrait of Madison. (pictured here)
