Children need fine motor skills to render realistic drawings and each child develops at a different pace.

Most of our adults students have set aside their art dreams to work or raise a family so it's very common for our Apprentices to be over 50. Our oldest student is currently 97. and her art practice keeps her very vibrant..

(CAUTION: Young kids can struggle if they don't have fine motor skills yet so we don't recommend this for anyone under the age of 14-15. And, self-study required maturity that is usually not found in younger folks.)
